About Use184 is a biotechnology research company advancing in vitro gametogenesis to transform reproductive medicine. We're developing integrated platforms that combine cellular reprogramming, machine learning-guided optimization, multi-omics analysis, and automated experimental workflows to enable gamete development for individuals facing reproductive challenges. We're assembling interdisciplinary teams across cell and molecular engineering, synthetic biology, epigenetic editing, bioinformatics and computational biology to tackle one of biology's most impactful problems — returning the fundamental right to procreate.
Role OverviewWe are seeking an expert Bioinformatician to lead computational analysis for our cellular reprogramming research program. This position will support critical objectives in high‑throughput screening analysis, single‑cell multi‑omics, and predictive modeling for transcription factor‑mediated cell fate conversion, working directly with the experimental team to guide screening strategies.
Primary Responsibilities- Build and maintain version‑controlled repositories harmonizing publicly available datasets (scRNA‑seq, bulk RNA‑seq, ChIP‑seq, CUT&RUN, ATAC‑seq).
- Establish and manage AWS cloud computing infrastructure from scratch for large‑scale data processing.
- Analyze single‑cell and single‑nucleus RNA‑seq/ATAC‑seq data from raw reads through biological interpretation.
- Process and analyze barcoded screening datasets from CRISPRa/i and other libraries for factor identification.
- Perform trajectory inference, RNA velocity, and gene regulatory network analysis for cellular state transitions.
- Contribute to developing predictive models for transcription factor combinations using multi‑omics integration.
- Create automated analysis pipelines and quality control frameworks for high‑throughput experiments; build data visualization and reporting systems for cross‑functional collaboration.
- Analyze Perturb‑seq and pooled screening data with barcode deconvolution.
- PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or another quantitative field with 3+ years relevant experience.
- Demonstrated expertise analyzing scRNA‑seq and scATAC‑seq from raw reads (FASTQ to biological interpretation).
- Proven experience building and maintaining version‑controlled multi‑dataset repositories.
- Strong proficiency in R and Python with experience in single‑cell analysis frameworks (Seurat, Scanpy).
- Hands‑on experience establishing AWS cloud computing environments from scratch.
- Experience building automated analysis pipelines using workflow management systems (Nextflow, Snakemake).
- Expertise with trajectory inference tools (Monocle, RNA velocity) and gene regulatory network analysis (SCENIC, Cell Oracle).
- Experience with Perturb‑seq analysis and pooled screening data deconvolution.
- Familiarity with multiple scRNA‑seq platforms beyond 10X.
- Track record of novel computational method development.
- Experience with chromatin accessibility analysis and transcription factor motif enrichment methods.
- Background in predictive modeling for cellular reprogramming applications.
- Competitive compensation, equity participation, and comprehensive benefits.
- Collaborative and supportive culture with mission‑driven colleagues working on high‑impact cellular engineering challenges.
- Opportunity to build a pioneering technology platform with high therapeutic potential.
