Demonstrated ability to analyze and compile data packages for both small and large datasets.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize analytical and extraction methods.
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
We are seeking a dedicated Chemist 2 to join our Liquid Chromatography (LC) team. This position is pivotal in providing accurate, efficient, and timely analytical services. The successful candidate will perform sample analysis using LC instrumentation with conventional, MS, MS/MS, and HR-MS/MS detectors, and contribute to method development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
ResponsibilitiesOperate LC instrumentation including conventional, MS, MS/MS, and HR-MS/MS (Orbitrap or TOF).
Perform SPE (solid phase extraction) and other sample preparation techniques.
Analyze and interpret data using Sciex OS, Analyst, Multiquant, Trace finder, Chromeleon, or equivalent software.
Perform extractions and sample analysis following documented methods and SOPs.
Troubleshoot analytical procedures and perform routine and preventative maintenance, verification, and calibration of instrumentation.
Compile and review QA/QC data to ensure ISO
17025 compliance.Participate in analytical method development and optimization.
Routinely screen, quantify, and report large-scale pesticide panels (>100 compounds/sample).
Propose improvements and help stabilize analytical processes.
Mentor junior chemists and contribute to SOP updates.
Proficiency in liquid chromatography, LC-MS, and mass spectrometry.
Experience in Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) techniques.
Hands‑on experience with Waters, Sciex, and Agilent instrumentation.
Ability in analytical method development and sample preparation.
Strong quality assurance (QA/QC) skills.
Skill in instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
Effective team collaboration and communication abilities.
Adaptability and prioritization skills.
Mentoring and training experience.
Technical proficiency with software such as Analyst, Sciex OS, Multiquant, Trace finder, Chromeleon.
This is a fast‑paced analytical laboratory role, with a schedule of 9:00am — 5:30pm. The work environment is dynamic and offers opportunities to work with advanced technology such as Waters, Sciex, and Agilent instrumentation.
