We have an immediate need for professional minded Oregon Armed Certified Security Officers for ongoing Vessel protection assignments. The duties are performed in Portland, OR while the vessel is rs of operation are 24 hours per day / 7 days per week. Successful Candidates MUST HAVE an ACTIVE/CURRENT Oregon Armed Security License. As this is a position working with the US Government you must also have a Non-Expired US Passport or US Birth Certificate to be considered for this position.

• Providing Access Control Points to several US military assets while at berth.
• Must be able to walk, stand or sit for long periods of time.
• Guard shacks at various stations; may require outdoors exposure for long periods and conduct foot patrols.
• Communicate well via phone, radio, and written reports.
• Monitor Access control computer screens for people entering and leaving vessels and gates.
• Communicate and work well with others as you will be working alongside several other security officers and shipyard personnel in close proximity.
• This is a customer service oriented environment; you should be courteous and pleasant when interacting with visitors and shipyard staff.

• At least 1 year experience as an OR DPSST Licensed Armed Security Officer.
• Ability to utilize Security Officer Reporting Apps such as Track Tik.
• Personable and able to work well with others; expect 50-100 persons per day from diverse backgrounds.
