The Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you will create an environment where people want to live. Responsibilities include maintaining property working order, ensuring a pleasant curb appeal, and delivering outstanding customer service to residents.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of multifamily maintenance experience (highly desired)
  • Hands‑on maintenance skills: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, pools, etc.
  • EPA Type II or Universal certification (highly desired); CPO is a plus
  • Availability for on‑call emergencies
  • Reliable transportation
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Superior customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Independent and team‑player capabilities
  • Basic computer proficiency (Windows, email, work‑order systems)
Key Accountabilities Customer Service & Maintenance
  • Provide exceptional customer service with every interaction.
  • Complete assigned work orders and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Support the “make‑ready” process for vacant units.
  • Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities.
  • Practice cost‑saving techniques and report inventory needs.
Adherence to Rules & Guidelines
  • Follow safety techniques and report malfunctions or incidents.
  • Attend safety meetings and complete required training.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct all business in accordance with fair housing and disability laws.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
  • Essential staff required to report to work and adhere to safety protocols.
  • May work during inclement weather.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and occasional bending and lifting.
  • May travel to sister communities for support.

Compensation Range

$23.59 – $23.59 per hour USD
