Holder Construction is seeking Carpenters for multiple projects in Portland.

The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a challenging and fast-paced environment, can work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.

• Construct and maintain safety handrails and hole protection, steps and gang ladders, temporary weather enclosures and protection.
• Perform sawing, stripping, nailing, burning, measuring, tightening/loosening bolts, drilling, and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• 3 years of construction experience.
• Ability to read basic drawings and have training on construction safety protocols (OSHA 10, fall protection, mobile elevated platform such as boom or scissor).
• High school diploma or GED is a plus; strong time management skills; ability to own assigned tasks and demonstrate professionalism and critical thinking.
• Agile/mobile, able to stand or walk for long periods, use hands to reach and manipulate objects, climb ladders/scaffolds, and work on uneven surfaces/heights.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials weighing 50–100 lbs., 75% of the time.
• Must be able to work in an OSHA-compliant safety environment, outdoors, overtime and weekend hours; punctuality is required.
