State Licensed Industrial Foreman Journeyman Control Electrician

McMillen, Inc. is looking for a State Licensed Industrial Foreman Journeyman Control Electrician with a minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in the field. This role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with drawings, specifications, and industry standards.

Prefer that this applicant has experience on heavy civil projects including work around bridges, structural concrete, mechanical equipment installation, heavy steel structure installation, and marine work

This position is for the McNary Dam project, scheduled to run from October through May, with an expected workload of 50–60 hours per week. Additional projects across the country may also be available.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Oversee cable tray installation, cable pulling crews.
  • Oversee crews performing cable tray installation, cable pulling, and terminations.
  • Perform quality control inspections and prepare documentation for acceptance testing and commissioning.
  • Plan, layout, and coordinate daily work activities.
  • Manage and schedule subcontractors, labor, and materials.
  • Review “work in place” daily for compliance with plans and quality standards.
  • Ensure and enforce overall safety on the job site.
  • Maintain accurate daily paperwork
  • Maintain professional relationships with subcontractors, clients, and project stakeholders.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication.
Qualifications
  • Current State License as an Industrial Journeyman Control Electrician (required).
  • Proven experience in electrical construction, supervision, and foreman-level responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of cable tray systems, cabling, and terminations.
  • Experience with quality control, testing, and commissioning processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Travel is required 100% (company pays per diem for travel 50+ miles away from home)
Compensation Package
  • Pay Range:$28 – $46 per hour (DOE). This McNary Project position follows Washington Davis-Bacon rules, with additional fringe benefits included in your paycheck.
  • Benefits:Subsistence/Per Diem (If temporarily assigned 50+ miles from residence)
