Maintenance Assistant

Courtyard Village at Raleigh Hills is looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Room Turn Specialist to join our Maintenance team. In this key role, you'll prepare vacant apartments for new residents — patching, painting, and refreshing rooms to reflect our "Art of Living" standard of quality care.

• Complete room turns; patch and paint walls, refresh baseboards and ceiling tile, and prep surfaces for new flooring or wall coverings

• Handle light electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks as needed

• Log turn time, equipment, and supplies in TELS

• Follow safety and chemical-handling procedures, including SDS documentation

• Respond promptly to maintenance needs and occasional building emergencies

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade or vocational experience preferred

• Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and painting

• Comfortable on ladders; able to lift up to 50lbs regularly (up to 100lbs occasionally) and stand/walk most of your shift

• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills

• A patient, positive attitude and genuine interest in serving senior residents

• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening; flexibility for occasional weekends/holidays

• $30 per hour.
