Traveling Structural Fitter​/Welder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Traveling Structural Fitters/Welders for projects located in
Pocatello, ;
West Jordan, UT;
Henderson, NV and El Mirage, AZ
. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $36/hour based on experience plus $120/day per diem for Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:

• Read and interpret complex blueprints, structural drawings, and AWS welding symbols
• Measure, mark, layout, and fit-up structural steel beams, columns, and heavy plates using clamps, jacks, and wedges
• Perform Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW)
• Operate fabrication equipment safely, including torch cutters, plasma cutters, and grinders
• Prep metal surfaces by grinding and cleaning joints to ensure maximum weld penetration and eliminate defects
