Compensation

Purpose

Provides adults disabled by serious mental illness with supportive services described in Oregon Administrative Rules, ensuring a clean environment, supporting recovery goals, assisting with medication administration, leading activities, and providing skills training.

Accountabilities

• Understands Oregon home and community based mental health rules.
• Assists clients with daily living skills and house safety.
• Maintains facility cleanliness and safe meals.
• Promotes healthy eating and physical activity.
• Completes shift duties and deep cleaning tasks.
• Distributes medication, documents eMAR, educates residents.
• Responds to crisis calls, escorts residents out.
• Documents interactions and critical incidents.
• Follows New Narrative policies, NASW Code of Ethics.
• Works assigned tasks from House Manager or Facility Administrator.

Other General Expectations

• Criminal records clearance through State Mental Health Division.
• TB test within two weeks of hire.
• Minimum 16 hours pre-service orientation.
• No work over 40 hours per week unless authorized.
• Adhere to scheduling, attendance, security rules.
• Participate in training and meetings.
• Maintain security of keys, files, systems.
• Will work at other sites when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Must be able to implement emergency procedures and disaster plan.
• QMHA credentials preferred.
