Position: Part Time
Shift: Thursday–Saturday, Overnight (11 PM–7 AM)
Compensation: $21.50 /hour + $1.50 /hour overtime differential
Provides adults disabled by serious mental illness with supportive services described in the Oregon Administrative Rules. Responsibilities include ensuring a clean and organized environment, supporting residents in their individual recovery goals, leading activities, and assisting with treatment plan interventions and skills training.
Accountabilities- Understand Oregon rules regarding Home and Community Based mental health services and assist residents to follow a person-centered recovery plan.
- Assist clients with daily living skills such as keeping appointments and completing household tasks.
- Support residents’ individual goals per their person-centered and Residential Service Plans.
- Ensure the facility is clean, orderly, and safe at all times.
- Prompt residents to participate in organized physical activity at least once per shift.
- Maintain cleanliness of food storage, common areas, and employee office.
- Complete all shift duties required by each individual facility.
- Assist residents with deep cleaning and laundry.
- Submit COMMLOG and resident contact notes at shift end to ensure documentation is complete.
- Protect client rights.
- Assist in crisis intervention, answer crisis calls, and contact appropriate treatment team members.
- Escort and supervise residents during community outings.
- Document all interactions with residents during each shift per policy and Oregon Administrative Rules.
- Document all critical incidents promptly and notify supervisor immediately.
- Know supervisor’s contact information.
- Complete shift summary and individual resident notes each shift.
- Adhere to all New Narrative policies and procedures.
- Adhere to the NASW Code of Ethics.
- Complete other tasks assigned by the Residential Supportive Supervisor.
- Must have a criminal record clearance through the State Mental Health Division prior to starting employment.
- Must test tuberculosis within two weeks of hire date.
- Must undergo a minimum of 16 hours pre-service orientation covering house rules, policies, psychiatric disability education, resident service arrangements, risk factors, medication management, food service, and resident assessment summaries.
- Will not work over 40 hours per week unless authorized by a supervisor.
- Will report to work promptly and adhere to all scheduling and attendance policies.
- Regular in‑service training on issues relevant to residential care totaling not less than eight hours per year.
- Attend and participate in required meetings, including mandatory monthly staff meetings.
- Pursue ongoing development of skills and competencies.
- Follow all agency policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Comply with all New Narrative safety rules and regulations.
- Follow through on all directives and instructions.
- Maintain security of keys, files, and facility systems.
- Will be required to work at other sites during times of temporary need.

Education & LicensingEntry level position. Must be 18 years of age.
QualificationsMust be 18 years of age and capable of implementing emergency procedures and the disaster plan.
