• Implement high performance, resilient APIs
• Micro-services and hierarchical web-services
• Distributed, and parallel tools and services
• Work on systems ranging from a public or private cloud to a decent laptop
• Ingest, Process and Deliver large quantities of disparate data types
• Handle large files, small files, such as JSON metadata files, video files, HSI imagery, satellite, aerial or unmanned aircraft data.
• Manage high volume & bitrate content streams such as those from UHD drone videos or aerial imagery, as well as micro-record streams such as those from well-heads or residential sensors
• Grow with the company and expand your role alongside fulfilling existing needs

• Must have experience with Tomcat, Spring framework & other Java dev environments
• Micro-services, API (REST, JSON) implementation
• Installation, configuration, deployment and utilization of some or all of:
  Kafka, Rabbit
  
  MQ or similar products
• Lucene, Solr or similar products
• Docker or similar products
• 3rd party tool integration
• JSON, XML, data movement and manipulation
• API specification and schema authoring and editing
