Full Stack Developer - Iot Integration

Base pay range: $40.00/hr - $60.00/hr

Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct a search for an experienced Full Stack Developer for our client, an experiential marketing agency in Portland, OR! This is a 6-month contract position based in the Portland area.

We are seeking a talented and versatile Full Stack Developer with a strong background in HTML5, Python, and Vue.js to join a pioneering IoT project. This role requires a developer who is passionate about integrating web applications with hardware systems, particularly microcontrollers like Raspberry Pi and Arduino. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and troubleshooting innovative IoT solutions that blend software and hardware seamlessly.

• Develop and maintain web applications using Vue.js, HTML5, and Python, ensuring robust, responsive interfaces and scalable backend services
• Collaborate with hardware teams to support and optimize communication protocols with microcontrollers, primarily Raspberry Pi and Arduino platforms
• Design, develop, and troubleshoot hardware-software integrations, resolving issues related to microcontroller communication and device control
• Prototype and experiment with IoT devices, contributing to iterative development and innovation

• 3+ years of full stack development experience, with strong proficiency in HTML5, Python, and Vue.js
• Hands‑on experience with Raspberry Pi and Arduino integrations
• Some experience with SQL or SQLite for database and data storage solutions
• Familiarity with IoT protocols and hardware troubleshooting
• Experience utilizing AI‑assisted coding tools (such as Git Hub Copilot or ChatGPT) is a plus

Pay: $40-60/hr depending on experience.
