Merrill Gardens at Cedar Mill is currently searching for a Group Fitness Instructor who is familiar with group fitness program development, planning and instruction of group fitness classes/activities including aquatic group fitness classes.

• Plan and lead group fitness classes tailored to older adults
• Promote classes through events and outreach
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and motivating environment
• Respond to resident needs with empathy and professionalism
• Support community wellness goals and perform other duties as needed

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• Group Fitness Certification (ACE or equivalent) within 3 months of hire
• 2+ years of experience, preferably with older adults
• Strong communication, customer service, and time management skills
• Knowledge of injury prevention, emergency procedures, and group fitness best practices

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
