LYB Trucking is seeking experienced Class A CDL truck drivers with tanker endorsements to join our dynamic team. This essential role involves safely and efficiently transporting liquid asphalt to various facilities in Oregon and Southwest Washington. Candidates should have knowledge of loading, unloading, and transporting asphalt and thrive in a driver-friendly work environment that emphasizes safety and success. The positions are seasonal and regional, with prebooked jobs available.

Job Requirements

Valid Class A CDL:
Must possess a tanker endorsement.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of tanker and truck/trailer experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate.

Medical Requirements:
Ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card.

Driving Record:
Must have a clean DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents in the last three years.

Manual Transmission:
Must be capable of operating manual transmission vehicles.

Background Checks:
Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings as required by the company.



Job Responsibilities

Pre- and Post-Operation Inspections:
Conduct thorough inspections of the vehicle to ensure tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls are in optimal working order.

Route Management:
Safely operate your heavy truck along designated routes, following maps and instructions to service each customer as assigned by the dispatcher.

Loading and Unloading:
Manage the safe loading, transport, and unloading of liquid asphalt, adhering to company safety policies at all times.

Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure clear communication with dispatch to facilitate timely service.

Customer Interaction:
Engage courteously with customers and dispatchers, ensuring all routes are serviced professionally and efficiently.

Safety Protocols:
Clean up any accidental spills and ensure compliance with safety standards. Continuously monitor vehicle conditions to minimize downtime and adhere to productivity standards.
