We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bus Driver to join our elite team in Beaverton, OR. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
Compensation and Benefits- CBA Position:
Full Time - Position Subject to Collective Bargaining Agreement
- Salary: $25.71 - $36.26 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Payscale). Starting pay $25.71 with progression to $36.26 over 3 years.
- Benefits include:
Vacation (greater than 1 year, Full Time 40 hours; Part Time 24 hours);
Paid Sick Leave (minimum 40 hours); medical, dental & vision after 30 calendar days of employment for full-time employees; life insurance, 401k retirement benefits, and company holidays. - Benefits may vary depending on location policy. The above represents the standard Corporate Policy.
- Safety-Focused Operations:
Execute operations by following designated routes and schedules, while adhering to safety protocols and traffic regulations. - Passenger Care:
Provide exceptional care and assistance toward passengers, ensuring smooth boarding, comfortable rides, and timely disembarkation. - Vehicle Vigilance:
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report maintenance issues promptly, and maintain cleanliness and safety equipment readiness. - Adherence to Protocols:
Uphold company policies and procedures, including seat belt enforcement, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance. - Other duties as required
- 21 years or older
- Minimum 5 years of driving experience (personal or professional)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed
- Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibits the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis.
The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
- Work outside in varying temperatures, weather, and humidity; 100% of the job is performed outside, including work alone and in remote locations
- Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances on possible sloped ground or slippery surfaces
- Push and pull objects up to 100 pounds; lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch
- Withstand exposure to heavy traffic, dust, vehicle fumes and noise; reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities
