The following general description applies to all hourly store team members. Please read the detailed information listed below.

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily (training provided).
• Orient new hires and provide on‑the‑job training.
• Deliver product by car and to the customer’s door. Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• Use an insured vehicle for delivery.
• Navigate addresses within the designated delivery area, including multi‑story buildings and private homes.
• Carry pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking, climbing stairs, and performing other physical tasks.
• Make several deliveries per shift within the assigned area.
• Travel between the store, vehicle, and customer location.

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions, and to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over the phone and in person.

Mathematical proficiency: add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; make correct monetary change. Strong verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders. Motor coordination between eye and hand/fingers for rapid, precise movements. Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions during outside tasks.

In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F+ in some areas. Sudden temperature changes, fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools (up to 500°F), sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Sensing: hearing on the telephone, near and mid‑range vision for most tasks, depth perception, ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.

Temperament: ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.

Physical Demands: standing most tasks, short‑distance walking, sitting for paperwork, lifting bulk deliveries up to 50 lb, carrying items (e.g., large cans, pizza sauce 30 lb, pizza dough trays ~12 lb), pushing/pulling trays on dollies, climbing stairs, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting. Reaching up to 72 in. Eye‑hand coordination essential; use of hand tools (pizza peel, cutter) required.
