Job Description

Join our team as a Material Handler in a dynamic warehouse environment where you will manage the handling of incoming products, ingredients, and packaging materials. You will ensure accurate inventory checks and facilitate the transfer of items between the warehouse and production.

Responsibilities
  • Receive freight trucks full of raw ingredients and materials.
  • Inspect and verify freight against BOM and POs.
  • Provide received information to the receiving clerk for inventory updates.
  • Stock materials in the warehouse or deliver them directly to the production department.
  • Operate a stand‑up forklift with training provided on the first day.
  • Perform basic warehouse duties such as cleaning and breaking down waste materials.
Essential Skills
  • Forklift operation experience.
  • Material handling expertise.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and use of handheld scanners.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge of GMP and quality control standards.

Work Environment

Work in a warehouse setting with concrete floors, handling equipment moving throughout the facility. Shifts available include B Shift from 3‑11:30 pm and C Shift from 11‑7:30 am, typically structured as 5×8s with two consecutive weekdays off. Training is provided for forklift operation, and a positive team environment is emphasized.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PORTLAND, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.40 – $21.40 /hr.
