As a Warehouse Aide/Associate, you will support department operations by delivering, staging, moving, and storing materials while learning basic processes. You work with operators and schedulers, following safety procedures and applying on-the-job training. The position emphasizes hands-on learning, possible hazardous material handling, and operating basic equipment under supervision. This is a structured, shop-floor role focused on contributing to productivity and safe work practices.
Responsibilities- Deliver, stage, move and store materials, equipment, and parts
- Load and unload materials and equipment
- Gather materials for use by others as needed
- Learn and perform basic department operations from technique cards
- Clean work areas, machines, and equipment
- Wear protective gear and work with hazardous materials as required
- Adhere to safety rules and report issues
- Complete logs and records as directed
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work onsite in north Portland (near airport)
- Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse or similar environment
- Comfortable being trained on forklifts
- MUST be comfortable working one of the following shifts:
