Powder Coater/ Painter Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Painter and Powder Coater. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for shaping, finishing, and preparing stainless steel tubing to meet both standard product specifications and custom rail designs. Your craftsmanship will directly contribute to the high-quality standards our customers expect.
First Shift 6-2:30pm
20-21 an hour!
Essential Skills- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Comfortable working with hand tools and machinery.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in metal fabrication or a manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required—training will be provided.
- Experience with machine operation is a plus.
- Computer skills are a must.
- Must be able to read schematics/blueprints.
Work in a collaborative and safety-conscious environment where precision and quality are paramount. Utilize hand tools, specialized machinery, and computer systems to achieve production goals. The workspace is organized to ensure efficiency and safety, with a focus on teamwork and communication.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, TN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 – $22.00/hr.
