This Position reports to:
Production Supervisor
In this role, you will be responsible for safety, quality and production in a plastic injection molding environment. The work model for the role is onsite. This role is contributing to the ABB ELIP Manufacturing facility in Portland, TN.
- Visual quality inspections of the product
- Placing product in box with appropriate count in each box
- Label product and boxes
- Tape boxes
- Lift and carry boxes up to 40 lbs.
- Monitor equipment operation
- Assist in training new employees
- Maintain work area in clean and orderly fashion - 5S
- Follow standard work instructions
- Participate in Lead Manufacturing efforts and Kaizan events
- Cover other positions following appropriate training, as needed
- High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum of one month or less of similar or related work experience
- Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions, write identifying information, request parts or supplies verbally or in writing.
