The Part Time Building Attendant is under the direction of the Community Center Events Coordinator. The purpose of this position is to provide support in the preparation, set-up, take-down, and clean-up of the Community Center rental facilities. Duties also include providing support during an event such as monitoring and restocking paper goods, ensuring the cleanliness of common areas, and ensuring appropriate locking-up of facilities after the conclusion of an event.
Attendance is an essential function of this position and will require working varied hours, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays. May perform other related work as required.
This position is subject to the City of Portland’s Background Investigation and Drug Testing Policy. New hires are required to provide proof of identity and legal authority to work in the United States per Federal law.

Qualifications- Proficient verbal and written English skills required.
- High school graduation or equivalent highly preferred.
- Valid Texas Motor Vehicle Operator’s Class C License with a good driving record required.
- Adult, Child, Infant CPR Certification Oxygen, AED, and First Aid Certifications highly preferred or ability to obtain within two months of hire.
