Role:
Store Team Lead — responsible for leading team members, driving operational excellence, and contributing to store performance in support of Academy’s Purpose.

• Lead execution of projects and initiatives; guide team members to deliver results.
• Support customer satisfaction and store profitability through effective leadership and operational focus.
• Refer to the specific job descriptions for related Lead roles as applicable:
  Logistics Team Lead, Operation Team Lead, Store Inventory Control Team Lead, Store Merchandising Team Lead, Sales Team Lead Softlines, Sales Team Lead Hardlines.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Work Experience:
  
  At least two years of relevant work experience; experience in supporting people and processes to drive operational excellence and sales targets.
• Legal/Regulatory:
  Must meet federal and state requirements for selling and processing firearms transactions in applicable roles; must meet requirements to qualify to obtain/maintain FOID card (Illinois only).
• Skills:
  
  Excellent customer service orientation; strong problem-solving and communication with customers and team members; ability to read and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, plan-o-grams and procedure manuals; prepare routine reports; apply common sense to follow instructions; working knowledge of inventory software, order processing systems, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

• Must meet federal and state requirements for selling and processing firearms transactions, in applicable roles.
• Must meet requirements to qualify to obtain/maintain FOID card (Illinois only).
• Required to complete Firearms Sales Certification Training, in applicable roles.

• Acceptable hearing and vision to perform job duties.
• Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures and code of conduct.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 20 pounds; frequently able to stoop, crouch, use fingers, grasp, push, pull, and lift up to 21 to 40 pounds; occasionally sit, climb, balance and lift 41 to 60 pounds.
