Responsibilities- Collaborate with other structural team members, architects, engineers in other studios, and consultants to support project work.
- Work on projects across multiple design markets, including PK-12 education, higher education, government, commercial development, and retail.
- Participate in all aspects of structural engineering design from design inception through construction, including engineering calculations and modeling.
- Utilize structural analysis software (RAM & Risa) and model structural systems in Revit.
- Engage in mentoring and professional development initiatives within the studio.
- Travel to project construction sites to review construction progress and learn construction-phase responsibilities when required.
- Two or more years of experience, with the ability to obtain a PE license.
- FE certification is a plus but not required within two years of graduation.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (with a structural focus) or Structural Engineering.
- Knowledge of New England States Building Codes.
