Supplier Quality Engineer

The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for managing and improving supplier quality performance. This role works directly with suppliers and internal teams to ensure compliance with quality standards, resolve non-conformances, and support new product introductions. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable leading quality initiatives.

• Develop and implement supplier quality strategies aligned with internal quality systems
• Conduct supplier audits to industry and customer standards
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action activities
• Review and approve supplier documentation including FAIs and PPAPs
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and drive continuous improvement
• Support supplier selection and onboarding processes
• Maintain detailed records of supplier evaluations and audit results

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field
• Minimum five years of experience in supplier or manufacturing quality engineering
• Strong knowledge of quality standards and tools such as FMEA, SPC, 8D, and root cause analysis
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to travel to supplier locations as required

• Competitive salary range of $115,000–$125,000 depending on experience
