Environment Business Line
in either our Portsmouth, NH, or Manchester, NH office, where you’ll play a key role in supporting both public and private clients on a variety of projects across the Northeast. Working with industry experts, you’ll tackle complex challenges that strengthen community resilience and advance environmental sustainability. Our Site Assessment Team and Projects
Our team provides comprehensive environmental services, including site assessments, subsurface investigations using the latest technologies, soil gas/vapor intrusion evaluations, and innovative cleanup approaches. We specialize in brownfields redevelopment and site redevelopment integrating cleanup in final development plans.

Responsibilities, Requirements, and Total Rewards

What You’ll Be Doing

As a valuable part of our Site Assessment Team, as a
Project Manager - Site Assessment
, you will support a variety of projects and gain hands‑on experience with responsibilities such as:

  • Preparing comprehensive reports, proposals, and budgets, with a focus on clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies
  • Managing projects in accordance with timelines, budgets, and client expectations, while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance
  • Overseeing field teams and subcontractors, promoting efficient and compliant project execution while managing environmental data and conducting site investigations

What You’ll Need

  • BS in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field
  • 15+ years of related experience, with at least 10 years in client and project management, including scope development, budgeting, contract management, and staff mentoring
  • Comprehensive understanding of the New Hampshire Code of Administrative Rules, Chapter Env-Or 600 Contaminated Site Management
  • Established working relationship with the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) for remedial project approval and completion
  • Licensure:
    New Hampshire Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist
  • Strong business development and client relationship management interest and background
