What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Oversee project staffing and manage resource allocation across the waterfront and coastal group
  • Build and maintain relationships with public and private sector clients, as well as regulatory agencies
  • Lead proposal preparation and client meetings to secure new projects
  • Support project management, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff and contribute to the strategic growth of the practice
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Coastal, or Environmental Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Over 20 years of experience in coastal engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record in designing and managing complex coastal infrastructure projects
  • Strong business development skills with demonstrated success in managing client relationships
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Master's degree in Civil, Coastal, or Environmental Engineering
  • Experience in climate resilience and adaptation projects
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks specific to the Northeastern United States
  • Active involvement in professional organizations related to coastal engineering
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices for coastal infrastructure
