Job Summary
Hospital Housekeeper at Portsmouth Regional Hospital – New Hampshire
Responsibilities- Perform daily and periodic cleaning tasks in assigned areas to maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for patients, visitors, and other staff members.
- Sanitize floors, walls, windows, doors, fixtures, furnishings, stairways, elevators, entrances/exits, horizontal surfaces, bathrooms, unit common areas, utility rooms, and patient rooms.
- Carry out cleaning tasks of maintenance and restorative nature, depending on needs.
- Follow Infection Control policies using proper tools, body mechanics, and lifting techniques; respect patients and their families' personal dignity and values.
- Adapt to changing assignments and pursue opportunities for improvement as directed by Environmental Services Leadership.
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
- At least 1 year of Environmental Services or Housekeeping experience (preferred).
