Pioneering, positive and progressive, we’re constantly evolving, and we are known for our aspirational culture and our passionate, committed workforce.
This is a fantastic time to join City of Portsmouth College, as we are coming to the end of our first strategic plan and have strong foundations to propel ourselves even further forwards.
We have created a new Deputy Principal Digital, Data and Funding role to join our impactful Senior Management Team, to provide leadership and strategic oversight for data services and digital transformation. Reporting to the Principal and CEO, the new postholder will be responsible for providing sector‑leading MIS and funding compliance, playing a key role in strategic planning including annual curriculum planning, and spearheading the college’s Digital Strategy.
Key to success will be ensuring the strength and effective use of data, maximising funding and streamlining operations, to support the college’s ongoing growth and excellence. The new postholder will add value through a business partnering and decision support approach, working with key stakeholders across the business.
Our successful candidate will have experience of leading on data management, business intelligence and funding, preferably within a Further Education setting, with the ability to gain optimum benefit from information systems. You should be a strategic thinker with excellent analytical and organisational skills, along with the ability to engage and influence at all levels. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to get the best out of your teams, are also of key importance.
