• Direct and coordinate daily activities involved in producing the products.
• Meet production goals.
• Establish and/or adjust work procedures and manpower to meet production schedules.
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality and employee safety.
• Assist workers in solving problems.
• Implement plans to motivate employees to achieve work goals.
• Handle counseling, training and development of direct reports.

• Minimum 5-8 years in manufacturing, including 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Associate’s degree or higher with supervisory certifications.
• Prior leadership experience required.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, 5S and World Class Manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures is desirable.

• Ability to work in a multi-tasking team environment.
• Ability to work with little or no notice of overtime when needed.
• Ability to read technical drawings, specifications and procedures.
• Good interpersonal communication skills – written and verbal.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Computer literate – experience with Microsoft Office, ERP/MRP (helpful).
• Ability to apply common sense in performing job.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to use basic high‑school math skills.
