** Job Description

* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Direct and coordinate daily activities involved in producing the products
* Meet production goals.
* Establishing and/or adjusting work procedures and manpower to meet production schedules
* Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality and employee safety
* Assisting workers in solving problems
* Implements plans to motivate employees to achieve work goals
* Handles counseling, training and development of direct reports
*
* Education and Experience:

*** Minimum 5-8 years in manufacturing, 3 in supervisory capacity
* Associates degree or higher with supervisory certifications
* Prior Leader ship experience required
* Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, 5S, and World Class Manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures is desirable

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

*** Ability to work in a multi-tasking team environment
* Ability to work with little or no notice of overtime when needed
* Ability to read technical drawings, specifications and procedures
* Good interpersonal communication skills – written and verbal.
* Excellent Organizational Skills
* Computer Literate- experience with Microsoft Office,  ERP/MRP (helpful)
* Ability to apply common sense in performing job
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
* Ability to use basic high school math skills
*
