Overview

Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital is seeking a full-time ER veterinarian to join our 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Our ideal candidate will have internship training or 3+ years' ER experience and be friendly, collaborative, and excited to offer state-of-the-art medicine for our patients.

Our hospital is proud to offer a comprehensive range of specialty services, including internal medicine, radiology, surgery, anesthesia, ophthalmology, cardiology, medical and radiation oncology, neurology, and critical care, supported by an exceptionally skilled team of emergency veterinarians. At Port City, we also place a strong emphasis on the learning and professional development of our technician team, whose expertise and dedication provide essential support to our veterinarians and enhance the level of care we deliver.

In early 2024, the Port City team proudly moved into our new, state-of-the-art 26,000 square foot hospital. Purpose-built to support our growing team and commitment to excellence in patient care, this beautiful two-story facility features advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities, including:

• A dedicated pharmacy and laboratory equipped with in-house blood analyzers
• Endoscopy suite
• 128-slice Canon CT scanner
• Ultrasound suite
• X-ray units on both floors
• Two high-flow oxygen units
• Dedicated fluoroscopy/C-arm suite
• Siemens MAGNATOM Sempra 1.5T MRI
• Looking ahead, we will open our new Radiation Oncology Department, which will be supported by the cutting-edge Elekta Versa HD Linear Accelerator, offering IMRT, VMAT, and SRT capabilities.
