Gutter Shutter (a specialized division of TC Hafford Basement Systems) is actively seeking a motivated System Design Specialist /
Sales Professional to join our growing team.
Job Type: Full-time, W-2 Employee Compensation:
Commission with Uncapped Earning Potential
- Southern Maine
- No Cold Calling:

Help homeowners protect their homes by providing effective outside gutter solutions for water redirection, contributing to drier and healthier living environments.
This is a consultative outside sales role, focused on diagnosing home exterior water management needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
- In-Home Consultation:
Drive to customer homes for pre-set appointments. - Diagnosis & Design:
Build rapport, perform thorough property inspections, and accurately diagnose gutter and exterior water management needs. Design and recommend solutions, which may include new gutter installation, repair, replacement, or enhancement of gutters, fascia, and rake boards. - Present & Close:
Present custom-designed gutter solutions clearly and professionally, and effectively close the sale with the customer. - Performance:
Consistently meet or exceed projected monthly sales targets. - Service:
Ensure a remarkable, professional experience for every customer.
- Experience:
1+ years of successful experience in sales, or equivalent education/experience demonstrating a proven track record. - Required License:
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record are mandatory. - Mindset:
You thrive in a competitive, performance-based commission structure. - Skills:
Strong presentation skills and proficiency using a personal computer and related software. - Preferred:
Knowledge of construction principles and practices is a plus.
