Overview
WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a Strategic Account Manager. The position manages a nationwide book of business, fostering relationships with new and existing accounts, delivering innovative solutions and service enhancements.
Responsibilities- Maintains positive client relationships, manages pricing, service changes, contract renewals and negotiations to deliver value and profitability.
- Communicates and exchanges account information across WIN Waste Innovations entities.
- Acts as primary point of contact, collaborating with client services to resolve inquiries and achieve satisfaction goals.
- Develops and executes strategic plans and implements new solutions that maximize customer and company value.
- Identifies cross‑selling opportunities and implements continuous improvements to customer programs.
- Conducts business reviews to provide insights and track improvements, creating new value‑added programs.
- Cultivates a pipeline of new business opportunities contributing to long‑term growth.
- Analyzes account activities within the CRM, recommending data‑driven decisions.
- Fosters company‑wide collaborative relationships to deliver comprehensive services.
- Communicates monthly P&L impacts per customer according to budgeting and forecasting.
- Participates in training and learning to expand product, sales and service knowledge.
- Maintains a positive work environment and effective communication with all stakeholders.
The candidate must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent and have at least 3 years of experience selling complex accounts with a history of success in collaborative environments. Sales certifications and experience in the environmental/sustainability industry are preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, selling, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of sales success ensuring qualification, development, and management of business opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to market to large accounts.
- Excellent written and oral communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Organizational, administrative, telephone and follow‑up skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and WTI information systems (e.g., Salesforce, TRUX, Pricing Tools).
