As an independent contractor, you'll work directly with the client site to arrange your hours, maintain control over your work environment, and represent our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Perform venipuncture and collect laboratory specimens, including urine, blood, respiratory swabs, wound swabs, and other ordered tests.
  • Properly label, handle, and process specimens in accordance with health, safety, and chain-of custody regulations.
  • Perform STAT phlebotomy services as requested.
  • Ensure timely arrival and completion of all scheduled collections.
  • Be proficient with our web-based lab information management system (LIMS) and electronic health records (EHR) platform.
  • Complete all documentation accurately and communicate frequently with client site contacts and Industry Lab leadership to ensure collections are on track.
  • Represent our organization with professionalism and reliability while adhering to scrub attire requirements.
  • Use company-provided supplies while maintaining your own inventory.
  • Uphold strict HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality at all times.
