GENERAL SUMMARY

Works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. The nursing assistant's primary job function is to perform a variety of basic patient care activities for the personal needs and comfort of patients and families while preparing for surgery and discharge. Supports each Strategic Value by providing excellent care to those we serve. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

• High School Diploma or successful completion of an equivalent High School Exam Required
• Completion of an approved nursing assistant program is preferred

Licensure:

• BLS within 90 days of hire required

Experience:

• At least one year medical/surgical experience preferred. Job related experience preferred.
