We are working with a leading international construction consultancy that is looking to appoint an
Associate Director of Cost Management
to take a senior role on one of the largest data center developments undertaken to date.
This is a significant opportunity to join a major data center programme in Portsmouth, Ohio, taking responsibility for commercial delivery, client relationships and the management of a growing Cost Management team.
Our client is experiencing continued growth across the US, with a substantial pipeline of data center projects and opportunities for further leadership progression.
The RoleLeading Cost Management delivery across major packages and work streams on a large-scale data center campus.
Overseeing project budgets, cost reporting, forecasting and commercial performance.
Providing strategic commercial advice to senior client stakeholders.
Managing procurement strategies, contract administration and change management.
Leading and developing a team of Cost Managers and Senior Cost Managers.
Identifying and managing commercial risks across the programme.
Building strong relationships with the client, contractors and wider project teams.
Supporting the continued growth of the consultancy's Cost Management offering.
Extensive experience in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
Proven experience delivering large-scale construction or capital investment projects.
Strong leadership capabilities and experience managing commercial teams.
Excellent client-facing, commercial and contractual skills.
Background in construction consultancy or major project delivery.
Data center, mission critical or major industrial project experience would be highly advantageous.
