This technician will be required to support electrical/electronic tasks conducted at our production facility in Portsmouth RI, by performing the following tasks:
- Cable and electrical assembly fabrication to print, testing and troubleshooting using engineering drawings schematics, wiring tables and parts lists.
- Assembling or installing equipment or parts requiring simple wiring, soldering, or crimp connecting.
- Performing simple or routine tasks or tests such as but not limited to continuity and point to point assembly and sub-assemblies’ verification and recording test data.
- Gathering and maintaining specified records of engineering data such as tests, drawings, etc.
- 1-3 years of experience fabricating and testing cable and electrical control and monitoring assemblies using engineering drawing packages. Additionally, ability to solder.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- DoD Secret Clearance
- Knowledge of electrical control and monitoring systems.
- Familiarity with Mil-Spec and IPC Standards
- IPC Certification in soldering and cable/wire harness fabrication
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
