Finance Administrator

This is a fixed term contract until the end of October 2026 for 20 - 30 hours per week

Mountjoy is one of the foremost housing maintenance, facilities management, and construction companies in the South of England.

We are seeking an conscientious Finance Administrator who has experience of using excel to input data and run reports. In addition, you will be required to use our bespoke Job Management system to support with costing and finance activities

• Process and match supplier invoices within the in-house accounting system, ensuring accuracy and timely posting.
• Review and approve subcontractor invoices in line with audit and compliance requirements. Liaise with subcontractors to obtain missing documentation and resolve invoice-related queries.
• Partner with the Finance Business Partner (FBP) to challenge and investigate subcontractor invoices that do not comply with agreed contractual or process requirements.
• Support the costing function by assisting with job costing activities within the in-house system, ensuring accurate allocation of costs and financial reporting.
• Maintain strong controls and adherence to company policies, procedures, and audit standards throughout the invoice processing cycle.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good numerical aptitude and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, with accurate keyboard and data entry skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills

• GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths (or equivalent), or relevant professional experience
