Tax & Accounts Semi Senior

You will work directly alongside Managers and Directors, giving you plenty of exposure, support and the opportunity to learn from more senior members of the team. The role itself is incredibly varied, making it a great opportunity for an Accounts Semi Senior who wants to continue developing their practice experience while gaining broader exposure across accounts and tax. In this role your responsibilities will include:
Preparing year end accounts for a varied portfolio of clients Preparing management accounts and other accounts related work where required Supporting with personal and corporation tax returns Gaining exposure to a mixture of tax work alongside your accounts responsibilities Working closely with Managers and Directors across a range of client assignments Building relationships with clients and becoming a trusted point of contact Supporting with queries and helping clients with their day to day accounting needs Developing your technical knowledge across both accounts and tax Taking on increasing responsibility as you progress within the firm The ideal candidate will have:
Previous experience working within an accountancy practice Experience preparing accounts from basic bookkeeping through to final accounts Some exposure to tax would be beneficial, although full training can be provided AAT qualified, part qualified ACCA or ACA, or currently studying towards a relevant qualification A genuine interest in developing a career within practice Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable personality Someone who enjoys working as part of a close knit team and wants to be somewhere they can build a long term career One of the biggest attractions of this role is the opportunity to work within a practice that is continuing to grow organically while retaining its friendly and personal culture.
