Audit Assistant Manager

Our client, a UK professional services firm offering audit, tax, accountancy, advisory, outsourcing and wealth management, is looking for an Audit Assistant Manager to join their London team. What The Job Actually Involves Managing audit engagements from planning through to completion, taking ownership of client relationships Supervising and developing junior team members, reviewing their work and supporting their progression Liaising directly with clients across a range of sectors, understanding their businesses and identifying areas of risk Ensuring audits are completed to a high technical standard, on time and on budget Reporting to Audit Managers and Partners on engagement progress and key findings Contributing to business development and helping to identify opportunities within existing client relationships What You'll Need ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with solid external audit experience Proven experience managing audit teams and client relationships Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients Ambition to progress within a firm that's actively investing in growth What's On Offer A genuine focus on work-life balance and flexible working, supportive teams and a progressive culture, plus structured professional development, mentoring and training built into day-to-day client work.
