Whatwill the Financial Accountant role involve?
- Supporting the preparation and delivery of consolidated financial accounts, ensuring compliance with IFRS and statutory regulations.
- Collaborating closely with internal teams to maintain and improve the group’s financial control environment.
- Partnering with Treasury to explain movements in investments and debt and managing key balance sheet reconciliations.
- Contributing to the timely production of quarterly and annual reports, as well as liaising with external auditors.
- Assisting in technical accounting matters and supporting ongoing regulatory compliance efforts.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with relevant audit and compliance experience
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of IFRS, multi-country, and multi-currency financial reporting
- Analytical with an eye for detail, capable of investigating variances and explaining financial movements clearly
- Proactive problem solver with excellent collaboration skills and the ability to communicate complex topics effectively
The role will be offered on a contract to permanent basis
