MAIN PURPOSE/OBJECTIVES OF ROLE
To process day-to-day sales orders of and manage deliveries between the suppliers and customers. The role is also to support the Sales Execs in the day-to-day quotation of sales opportunities.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Order Management- Sales Order entry, product and cost validation, supplier order generation.
- Creating and maintaining the Live Quoting Schedule.
- Sales order management of suppliers and deliveries from order entry to invoice and payment in-line with procedures.
- Ensure accuracy of all of the above and ensure it is undertaken in a timely manner.
- Assisting Customer Service team members with other orders in cases of sickness and holidays
- Resolving supplier invoice queries to ensure quick payment
- Filing Delivery notes, sales orders, purchase orders and acknowledgements on the system.
- Invoicing completed orders.
- Assisting the Sales Team with quotations and supporting images
- Comparison to Budget and/or target pricing and ensuring that all non-compliance issues are drawn to the attention of the Sales Exec.
- To take part in team training sessions in local or London office (once a month).
- Following up enquiries and liaising directly with new prospects and clients to discuss their needs and provide quotation against this.
- Working with the design department to produce schedules against proposed layouts.
- Supporting sales team with smaller quotations as required.
- Keeping supplier and project folders up to date and in order.
- Answer the telephone and transfer the call to the correct person.
- Liaise with customers to resolve queries.
- Respond to customer enquiries.
- Raise, manage and close all NC’s relating to your orders.
- Help the company to aim for only 30 open NCR’s at any one time
- Responsible for all NC’s as they will be taken off the profit and will be costed to the job.
- Ensure that all NC’s raised have a resolution date confirmed within 2 weeks.
- Maintain safe working practices whilst undertaking your duties at all times.
- Undertake any other reasonable tasks as directed by management.
- Work flexibly and be receptive and adaptable to a changing environment within a fast expanding Company.
- Commitment and ability to actively support the broader growth aims and philosophy of the Company.
- Team player with good communication.
- Flexible, willingness to complete tasks to deadlines and occasional late working if required.
- Commercially aware
- An interest in the sector in which your employer operates, coupled with a willingness to keep up to date with industry trends, regulations and legislation

- Positive and calm manner with a can-do attitude with ability to work well under pressure.
