Logistics Administrator

Our client is looking for a Logistics Administrator to work at a location in Portsmouth.

• Check medical instrument and implant sets back in from hospitals
• Replenish stock within instrument sets and prepare them for future use
• Pick, pack and ship medical sets in line with scheduled hospital requirements
• Process stock movements and stock replenishment using the AX system
• Monitor expiry dates and replace or remove out-of-date stock
• Provide cover for sales order processing when required
• Coordinate daily office administration and logistics activities
• Liaise with transport providers to ensure deliveries are completed on time
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
• Support the sales team with administrative tasks
• Carry out physical duties, including lifting and moving medical equipment, in line with health and safety procedures
• Resolve logistics and stock issues efficiently and professionally

• Previous experience in administration, logistics, warehouse administration or stock control
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Confident using computer systems and learning new software
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Comfortable carrying out both office-based and physical duties
• Able to work independently after training
• A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
• Reliable, adaptable and able to prioritise a varied workload
