£31,500+ per year DOE + KPI Bonus
Full-Time | Permanent
Monday – Friday + 1 in 3 Saturdays

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Parts Advisor to join a well-established commercial vehicle business in Portsmouth.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an automotive Parts professional looking to develop their career within the commercial vehicle sector, working as part of a friendly, close-knit team alongside the Service and Workshop departments.

The Role

As a Parts Advisor, you will play an important role in keeping the workshop running smoothly and ensuring customers receive the right parts when they need them.

Your responsibilities will include:

 * 📦 Sourcing, ordering and receiving automotive parts

 * 🔧 Providing parts advice to customers and the workshop

 * 🚛 Supporting parts requirements for commercial vehicles

 * 📋 Managing stock control, returns and warranty parts

 * 💻 Maintaining accurate records using the DMS

 * 🧰 Managing workshop consumables, PPE, tools and equipment

 * 🤝 Working closely with Service and Workshop teams

 * 📞 Dealing with customer and supplier queries

 * ⭐ Providing excellent customer service

About You

We are looking for someone with:

* Previous automotive Parts experience – essential

* Car or commercial vehicle Parts experience

* Good knowledge of automotive parts

* Ability to identify and source the correct parts

* Excellent communication and telephone skills

* Good computer skills and ability to learn new systems

* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

* A proactive and positive approach

* Ability to work well as part of a small team

Commercial vehicle experience is advantageous, but strong candidates from a car Parts background will also be considered.

 * £31,500+ salary, depending on experience

* KPI bonus scheme after 3 months

* Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm

* Every 3rd Saturday, 8:00am – 12:00pm
