Are you an ambitious Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge with a respected and growing main contractor? they’re recruiting for 2 Quantity Surveying positions in Portsmouth, offering the chance to work on a varied portfolio of exciting projects across the education, healthcare, and commercial sectors.
Whether you're an experienced Intermediate Quantity Suveyor ready to step up, a confident Project Quantity Surveyor, or an established Senior Quantity Surveyor seeking more autonomy and progression, we want to hear from you.

This established general main contractor has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality new build and refurbishment projects up to £3 million. With a steady pipeline of secured work and long-standing client relationships, they continue to grow across the South Coast region.
Projects include:
* Schools & education facilities
* Hospitals & healthcare environments
* Commercial developments
* Public sector refurbishments
The Role of the Quantity Surveyor
You’ll take commercial responsibility across multiple projects, working closely with operational teams from pre-construction through to final account.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing project costs and valuations
* Subcontract procurement and management
* Preparing CVRs and commercial reporting
* Handling variations and final accounts
* Working under JCT forms of contract
* Supporting successful project delivery on time and within budget
What They’re Looking For
* Experience working for a main contractor
* Good understanding of JCT contracts
* Strong commercial awareness and communication skills
* Ability to manage projects independently (level dependent)
* Experience with in refurbishment and/or new build projects preferred
