The Site Engineer (rates dependent on experience) will form part of our Site Management team and be responsible for technical, organisational and supervisory elements of each given site.
- All aspects of setting out and levels.
- Surveys.
- Checking drawings and quantities.
- Produce cut and fill reports
- Taking off materials.
- Working with a number of gangs.
- Liaising with any consultants and / or sub-contractors engaged in the project
- QA
Skills:
- Hardworking / timekeeping and reliability.
- Prioritising work areas / gangs.
- Competent using total stations and GPS.
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- A commercial understanding of budgets and timelines for projects
- Good communication skills at all levels to enable you to work with clients, construction managers, subcontractors etc
- Technical know-how
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of IT knowledge
- Knowledge of relevant building and health and safety legislation
