Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join schools across Portsmouth from January 2026
.

• Work closely with teachers to support pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health needs.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to help students achieve their learning goals.
• Assist with classroom activities, behaviour management, and personal care where required.
• Opportunities available for long-term placements or flexible ad-hoc supply work
  .

• Experience working with children with SEN (school-based or similar setting).
• A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Relevant qualifications or training are desirable but not essential.
