About the Role:We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled PE Teacher to join our team from ASAP. This long‑term role involves teaching PE across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting physical activity, teamwork, and healthy living. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, organising sports activities, and contributing to the wider school sports programme.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high‑quality PE lessons across a variety of sports and fitness disciplines.
- Inspire and motivate students to develop physical skills and an appreciation for health and fitness.
- Prepare lesson plans, monitor progress, and assess student performance.
- Organise extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school teams.
- Promote a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole‑school initiatives.
- Previous experience teaching PE at secondary school level.
- Excellent knowledge of the PE curriculum and sports coaching techniques.
- Strong communication, leadership, and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to promoting active lifestyles and positive values through sport.
- Flexibility, resilience, and a proactive approach.
- A degree in Physical Education or a related field.
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
- Additional coaching qualifications are desirable.
