Part-time, 30.4 hours per week (8.30am – 3.15pm)

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and personable Learning Support Assistant to join a large team of dedicated staff. This is a rewarding role where patience, empathy, and strong communication skills will make a real difference to pupils across KS1 and KS2.

The main aspect of the role will be supporting pupils’ learning within a classroom environment. You will work with a variety of pupils with differing needs, so flexibility and positivity are essential.

A full induction process will be provided, and there are excellent opportunities for career progression. Many graduates in this role have gone on to train as qualified teachers.

• Supporting pupils’ learning in mainstream lessons
• Providing 1:1 or small group support where required
• Assisting teaching staff with adapting learning resources to suit individual needs
• Encouraging pupils to build independence, confidence, and resilience
• Supporting the smooth running of the classroom and fostering a positive learning environment

• GCSE Grade C/4 (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics (essential)
