Role Overview:
As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons that help students build a strong foundation in mathematics. You will foster a positive learning environment where all students feel encouraged and supported. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about inspiring students and making a real impact on their academic progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons in line with the curriculum

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to support their development

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment

  • Work with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies

  • Maintain effective classroom management and promote a positive learning atmosphere

  • Provide extra support for students who may require additional help, including those with special educational needs (SEN)

  • Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents

  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) and a degree in Mathematics or a related field

  • Previous teaching experience (desirable, but not essential for NQTs)

  • A passion for teaching and inspiring students to achieve their best

  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach at Key Stage 3 and 4

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A commitment to the success and well-being of students

  • Ability to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners

  • A proactive and innovative approach to teaching
